Confirmation is a period of instructionfor baptized Christians to learn the teachings of the Church.
Confirmation is a two-year program, typically for 7th and 8th grade students. These classes teach them about the Bible and Lutheran Theology.
Confirmation students and their families are expected to attend church on a regular basis.
After the student has completed and met all the confirmation requirements, they will participate in the “Rite of Confirmation” where they will publicly confirm their baptism and be welcomed as members of the church.
